The Interest Group

The Interest Group is mainly formed by Public Administrations who are involved in running Mobile Teleassistance Services and are backing up the project.

 
The (Spanish) National Reference Center for Personal Autonomy and Technical Support (Centro de Referencia Estatal de Autonomía Personal y Ayudas Técnicas - CEAPAT) hosted the first meeting of the TWG and supports the works and objectives of the paSOS project.

Imserso is the (Spanish) Social Security Administration Body responsible for handling Social Services supplementing Social Security System provisions and which deals with older persons and dependent persons

Red.es is the public business entity attached to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade (MITyC) that is in charge of driving the development of the Information Society in Spain. It is also in charge of implementing projects that fall under the strategic priorities of the Office of the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and the Information Society (SETSI) and works closely with Regional Communities, Regional Councils, Local Entities and the private sector in the area of information and communication technologies (ICT).

AMETIC is the Spanish ICT, Telecommunications and Digital Contents industry association, gathering more than 5.000 enterprises with a total of 350.000 employees. Its members' activities represent about 7% of the Spanish GDP. Amongst other activities, AMETIC supports R+D initiatives through the so-called "Tecnological Platforms" that work as Scientific-Technological cooperation networks. eVia is the Technological Platorm that focuses on Health, Well-being and Social Cohesion that supports the development of the paSOS protocol.
