The Other Member Entities' Group is formed by representatives of the tele-assistance industry that support and share the objective of fostering the use of paSOS as a free and open Mobile Teleassistance Protocol, but that are not directly involved in the works of the TWG. The members of this group also have expressed their intention to use the paSOS protocol in their products.

Since 1995, this non-profit research institution aims at using ICT for promoting independent living and personal autonomy for the elderly and people with special needs. Fundación Vodafone España works very closely with leading social organizations to fulfill with its objectives. After many years of collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross, in 2002, both organizations founded the Fundación TECSOS, which main objective is developing ICT-based solutions for addressing social needs of vulnerable groups. |

The Vodafone Foundation is at the centre of a network of Vodafone's global and local social investment programmes. In countries in which Vodafone operates, their social investment is delivered by a unique footprint of 27 Vodafone Foundations and social investment programmes. These programmes are directed and chosen by the Foundation Trustees and receive funding from the Vodafone Foundation in the UK as well as their local Vodafone company. The Vodafone Foundation received recognition as registered charity number 1089625 from the Charity Commission for England and Wales on 4 December 2001. Since 2010, under the "Mobiles for Good" programme, Vodafone Foundations across the Vodafone Group are engaged in projects to expand the roll out of paSOS protocol for mobile teleassistance services used by the elderly and people at risk of domestic abuse. |

We have been working hard during those years to consolidate a strong research and development group, able to create innovative products and services. Our work covers a wide scope of activities, and healthcare is probably now the most relevant for our company.
