The paSOS project

The paSOS project is an initiative of the TECSOS Foundation whose purpose is to develop a standard, open and free communications protocol for the inter-working between mobile tele-assistance terminals and alarm centers.
Lead by the TECSOS Foundation through the Steering Comittee, The project is structured in three different groups:




The Technical Working Group (TWG) is formed by representatives of the tele-assistance industry (terminal equipment suppliers, alarm centers suppliers, certifying agencies and consulting companies). 
     
The TWG's mission is to define the paSOS protocol.

The Interest Group is mainly formed by Public Administrations who are involved in running Mobile Teleassistance Services and are backing up the project.
 
 
 
 

The Other Member Entities' Group (OMEG) is formed by the companies (Service Providers, Technology Suppliers, Integrators, Consultancies etc...) that are interested in the project but are not directly involved in the protocol's development works.
